Eugene Throw

Eugene Throw  free pattern in PDF format

©Yarnspirations.com

The intricate looking, but easy-to-do cabling on this throw gives great texture without adding a lot of bulk or weight to the throw.  Five "panels" of wandering cables separated by cluster strands will help keep you warm and toasty!  Made all in one piece, no parts and pieces to sew together!

Perfect to snuggle under on a cold day, this throw is approximately 40 inches by 50 inches.  Made with NaturallyCaron's.com Country, which unfortunately has been discontinued.  I would suggest replacing it with a light worsted weight at the heaviest, to a baby weight at the lightest.

Aqua Blue Scarf

Aqua Blue Scarf  free pattern in PDF format

This was my first pattern with Caron International Yarn, which is now part of Yarnspiration.

©Yarnspirations.comThe traveling, twisting cables run the full length of the extra long scarf that was made with NaturallyCaron's.com Spa yarn.  Unfortunatley the yarn has been discontinued.  It showed off the stitches beautifully!  I would suggest replacing it with a sock weight or a thick fingering weight.

Perfect Pocketed Shawl

Perfect Pocketed Shawl  free pattern

© Lion BrandThis shawl/scarf can be worn several ways.  With the collar folded over like the picture, with the collar fully opened to have the "hem" lower on the arms, or with the collar "upside down" on the arms, which will turn the pockets to the inside of the wrap rather than showing on the front.  Totally up to the person who'll be wearing it; no wrong way!

This pattern is published on Lion Brand's website, and can be found here.  Made with Lion Brand Homespun.  (You may need to register with Lion Brand to access their free pattern catalog)
